Fab Hotel
Great hotel in a central location. Friendly staff who were very knowledgeable about the best restaurants/ Bars to visit. The hotel is situated between the sea front and the town centre which has some lovely shops. The roof terrace bar in the evening was amazing with breathtaking views onto the beach and the old town. We stayed in December so the room rate was very good value for money.

Karen, when did you get that invitation to write the good review about Amoma... It is a scam company.. They ran away with the money of thousands of people. Or are you par of that bunch of gangsters? Cross your fingers that you are not going be part os "us", robbed, cheated people.

We too got screwed!
We too got screwed, booked and fully paid for 7 nights in Mexico only to arrive and be told our res was cancelled but our supplier the previous day. no email, nothing from Amoma, I tried to get to their website to call someone, see they have a “cease business” notification posted! Had to pay another $2500 for the 7 nights. Now trying to get my original $2500 back from credit card company we originally paid with. Fingers crossed as not expected to see any money back from Amoma scum!

Totally disappointed
Totally disappointed - booking was canceled - Money gone.
It must not be tolerated from the Swiss Law - this is a pure SCUM.
I am now in contact with Mastercard (travel insurance) hope this case is covered. First time run in such a bad situation.

Amoma Scammers dishonest and liars
Amoma, Twice recently taken my money and not paid a penny to either hotel. Scammers, dishonest and tbh I'm glad they are gone - apart from the distress that they have put all of their customers through. Hope the chief exec and his sidekick website designer get what's coming to them and never get to run any business.

AMOMA is a complete SCAM
AMOMA is a complete SCAM. I booked a resort in Maui for my wedding and honeymoon. Imagine getting there the day before your wedding to have the resort tell you the third party I booked through (AMOMA) had cancelled within the last 24hrs...during when I was on my flight. They took $1800 and there is no way to reach them. No phone number and their email gives you an automatic no reply message. SUCH A SCAM!

I’d have selected 0 stars for this review. Booked a holiday through this farce company. Rang the hotel and was pleased to hear the booking was confirmed. However a few days later have been told it was now cancelled. Why cancel it amoma?! If anyone has the details of the management or directors of Amoma I’d love to hear from you to direct any summons over to them.

Dreadful commercial practices from a business which lied to its customers about the service provided. They simply cannot run a genuine and profitable business and the customers paid the ultimate penalty for that.
We booked a 6 nights all inclusive with AMOMA at Orka Sunlife Resort in Oludeniz, Turkey. We never did all inclusive but this was for our honeymoon.
The night we arrived at the hotel for checking in, around 1:30 am, we were told that AMOMA had cancelled our booking 2 days ago. We were in absolute shock since there had been no notofocation from AMOMA of such practice and my wife just could not hold hear tears back. The hotel offered us one night but could not confirm further room availability intil the next morning when the reservations team was back in work. We paid additional £130 for that 1 night and confirmed that morning that the hotel was fully booked. The reservations team helped us finding another hotel and tried over 10 hotels to find us accommodation. Eventually we had to move to different hotel and paid again for our stay.
We are distraught and simply not able to enjoy our honeymoon.
Disgracefully and certainly there will be individuals liable for a civil prosecution.

A very bad experience
I booked and paid for a hotel in Prague with this company for our 4 night break. We arrived at the hotel last week to be told no room was available for us as the company no longer existed. To say the least we were devastated. The hotel had one room available which we had to pay for again. My husband and I are both senior citizens so this extra cost to us was really distressing. We had no idea this company had ceased trading, we had all the paperwork from them confirming everything was booked and in place. A truly terrible experience.

Booked 4 days at Disney land paris, me, my wife, and youngest daughter whom is 6, on the 21 Sep to the 24th, paid in full £292 back in January, then got email last Friday off amoma saying that booking will most probably be cancelled, contacted Disney exploers hotel who confirmed this, and tried to charge me €592, for booking, which was disgraceful considering that they were quite happy to accept £292 minus amomas fee, I ended up going through Agoda for £392 for same deal. Amoma pure scum.

They took the money and ran!
They took the money and ran! As other people have experienced, I made a booking with these cowboys. They took my money on the 12th of september and ceased trading the next day! After contacting the hotel directly, they informed me that my room had been cancelled on the 17th.

I booked a hotel reservation in Palm Springs, .CA for four days. I received a notification from Amoma stating my hotel reservation had been cancelled. Why? Amoma took my payment and when I arrived at the hotel sure enough my reservation had be cancelled. No refund from Amoma!!! Really??? I contacted my bank institution to receive my refund. FRAUD ALERT!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE.

They just shut their site down without…
They just shut their site down without any warning and said your reservations will probably be cancelled and you have to contact the hotel and your credit card provider. Unbelievable!!! No warning at all.

Booked my hotel back in August
Booked my hotel back in August, a 1 night stay in London. Got an email on 13th Sept from Amoma to say they have ceased trading. Contacted the hotel and thry advised the room was still booked. Great I thought, arrived at hotel 18/09 and the room had been cancelled. I had to pay £146.50 for the very same room. Not happy!!
